There was an online test with 3 test cases provided to be automated using a script that the candidate was experienced in. The sad part is that the systems were not updated. For the Selenium automation interview I attended, I had the fight to let the HR know that the system also needed TestNG to be installed. I also had to install the selenium-standalone server to execute my tests. One of the HR was pretty rude, when I mentioned the issues. The chrome browser that I initially used for testing was not getting connected to the internet. MS-word had expired on its license and hence would not let me copy at least a 25 characters search text from the requirements document. I had to switch from machine to machine and none of them had a proper local timing set.
Incompetent and inefficient HR community. I am surprised at how could somebody rate my coding when there was nobody to cross-check the issues I had mentioned. Pathetic way to conduct interviews!
