I was contacted via email after I had posted my resume and credentials on a job board. The recruiter then called to chat with me about the new business model and the things that they were changing about the Global business team.
This was relevant because I had worked with the innovation team before the dot bombs. She explained in full how it was no longer an in house effort, but a full consulting, placed at client sights.
I decided to go through the process of going into the office for the interview. When I arrived I was initially told I would be meeting a panel of interviewers, but due to a disjointed effort ended up meeting with only the creative director. We spoke about my portfolio and the things I have done since I had left IBM. Things went very well.
There wasn't any real stress questions, but more about things that I have been encountering in the market and a general rapport.
