I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PwC (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2011
Interview
I was first contacted for an office visit for the tax-IAS internship. I did not get a typical first round interview but instead received an email offering an office visit. The office visit consisted of four interviews and a lunch. Overall, the experience was really great-- I really enjoyed speaking to each interviewer (three managers and one partner) and the overall interview was very much conversational and less Q&A. They made me feel very comfortable. Two days later, I received an offer through a phone call. The duration of their decision process was pleasantly quick.
DSA style questions for a data and AI role for the written potion of the interview and a case study with 10 minutes to prepare and 5 mins to go through your solution.
"Tell me about yourself," "Why should we hire you?" and "What are your strengths/weaknesses?"
Also they ask behavioural questions (e.g., handling conflict, teamwork) and situational questions about your work history...
very nice interviewer. asked personal questions, got to know me, didn't ask me about pwc which I liked. placed more of an emphasis on the person and who they are and what they like
