The interview went well! They made me feel confident that my salary expectations were within their range, but since then, I haven't heard anything back. I emailed three people with no response, and when I called one of them, she mentioned she would get back to me the next day, but that didn’t happen. The only feedback I recall from the interview was that I was a great fit for the role and that they had a few junior employees in need of mentoring. I can’t shake the feeling that my salary expectation—starting at €2,000 and above for a Senior Lead role—might have been the reason for the silence. Perhaps, in Greece, we’ve reached a point where Senior professionals are expected to accept salaries more typical of Junior-level positions.
