Fully remote. HR from Rakuten set up interviews. My recruiter coordinated with Rakuten folks. So it was a smooth process. After the initial document screening process, three interviews. One with the hiring manager, and another one with managing director.

easy as usually, but could be more efficient, if you're an experienced developer, should be easy to pass, so basically you can try this before others, some of the interviewer are not professional
You have to read the book written by the CEO. Mostly put your experience to the successful pillars of the company value. Quite generally, Japanese styl,e and remember to talk out loud what you think to the interviewer.
