I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2016
Interview
The interview process was seamless and positive. I had a phone interview with a junior HR rep, followed by a phone interview with a senior HR rep. After those I was brought in for a panel interview with two of the hiring managers. Finally, I was asked to give a presentation with a QA infront of a panel of four hiring managers. the questions were typical, as they included a "walk me through your resume" and some direct sales questions (i.e. "What would you do if the customer said X"). The interviewers were all respectful of my time and ask questions relevant to the role.

Question 1
How has your current role prepared you for a job at Salesforce?
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

Question 1
Explain your sales process
How do you perform outreach
Describe a deal won
Apply via Workday, initial recruiter screening via phone call, 1:1 manager interview and introduction, then panel presentation with role play. You'll need to build and present a deck in the final stages.

Question 1
Walk me through a deal example and how you won the opportunity.
pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
