Applied online via referral. The lead recruiter reached out a week later and was incredibly professional from start to finish. She worked closely with a recruiting coordinator who was also highly professional. I had an initial 30 minute phone screen with the lead recruiter to ensure my skillset, location, and desired job functions checked the right boxes to move forward.
I then had a Google Hangouts video call with a Sr CSM and a Principal CSM. This interview was validating the following: team player, client-facing experience, knowledge of Salesforce, and most importantly - culture fit.
Next was a 45 minute Google Hangout video call with the hiring manager. This (and the final interview) was the most in-depth interview. Several questions around sales/delivery experience, Salesforce knowledge, people management experience, personality-style questions, general interests, situational questions. This interview also explained the role in explicit detail and expectations were set around what the role would entail and how my performance would be measured.
Next up was a 30 minute Google Hangout video call with a SVP of Sales. He was focused on how I would work with his team to drive sales, and ensure that I understood the joint functions I would be sharing with his team. I was asked about coaches/mentors from my past that stood out and why. Other questions included steps I would take to find and validate information. He asked why Salesforce, and why this role specifically.
Final interview was 1 hour panel-style Google Hangouts video call with the hiring manager and two of his peers. The interview started with a 30 minute presentation (given by me). The presentation topic was of the candidates choosing relating to a Salesforce delivery project - the focus was the context of the project/client, the technology decisions, outcomes, and my role in the project. After the presentation, we spent 5-10 minutes on the questions related to the presentation. The next segment consisted of questions up and down relating to experience, outcomes I drove, problem solving situations, and interpersonal situations and how they would be dealt with.
