      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2019

      Interview

Salesforce interview process was one of the smartest and coolest. Process started by getting a call from Recruiter, Jai. He was an awesome recruiter who helped me understanding the process , role and openings available. I have picked the matching opening he has and he routed my resume to the hiring manager. After hiring manager interview (45 mnt), i was given an assignment to finish in 3 hrs. I took the assignment on my weekend and after the assignment evaluation recruiter called me and informed that team wanted to got forward. Then there was a technical round followed by onsite. Onsite was 6 rounds mainly white boarding and system design. All the panel members were smart and nice enough to explore best out of me. After the onsite, recruiter called me and said team wanted give the offer. During the entire process Jai helped as the bridge and he made sure I am most comfortable in all the phases. I accepted the offer after a week.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2019

      Interview

I interviewed with several groups at Salesforce, each of which was initiated via employee referrals. Both groups followed the same basic interview process: 1) A call from a Salesforce recruiter who provides information about the position and gauges your level of interest. 2) A short screening call with the hiring manager where you can more detailed information about the position and also see to if you would be a good fit for the position and the team. 3) Typically an online three-hour coding exercise -- plan on using the full three hours. 4) Interview with the team, anywhere from 5 to 8 team members. 5) Assuming the team wants to move ahead with the hiring process, the final step is typically to have a 30-minute phone call with a VP. A Salesforce recruiter manages the entire process. I was extremely impressed with the Salesforce recruiters I was working with, they were always responsive to questions I had and kept the interview process moving along in a timely manner.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2016

      Interview

Extremely well organized. I cannot say enough, I have interviewed with several top firms in the past, this was by far the best experience. The recruiter was so prompt with providing updates (I couldn't keep up with her). For the interview process, the interviewers really valued the interviewees time, were very professional, made me feel at home. Moreover, everyone left sufficient time for questions at the end, so I was never in the dark on the job requirements, company culture, technology stack. The entire process was so smooth, I typically never write reviews, but though this one deserved it.. I would high recommend Salesforce to anyone looking. Finally, the offer topped my expectations, very generous :-).

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The interviewers were mainly looking for how I think, data structures, writing clean code, rather than any syntax.
