About the Team:
Strategic Planning and Analytics (SP&A) is the Group President’s Strategy Office, supporting him and the rest of the top leadership in driving strategic initiatives across e-commerce, consumer lending, and digital banking businesses. We focus on unlocking growth opportunities and improving operational efficiency while driving transparency and alignment among top leaders in the organisation.
Team members typically come from top-tier consulting, strategy, and business backgrounds. As an intern, you will work closely with the SP&A team on real business and strategy questions, gaining exposure to how senior management evaluates growth opportunities and trade-offs.
Job Description:
Support strategy and/or business analysis projects related to e-commerce and fintech across APAC and global markets
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend assessment to inform strategic discussions
Help structure and analyse open-ended business questions, translating data into insights and implications
Assist in preparing management-level materials (e.g. slides, summaries, analytical deep dives)
Collaborate with regional and functional teams to understand business context and performance drivers, and when relevant, involve into business pilots across teams
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Management or Math/Data with business exposure/interest
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent communication skills
Curious about strategy, technology, and digital business models
Prior exposure to consulting, strategy projects, case competitions, or business analysis is a plus
