Job Description:
We are seeking meticulous and reliable individuals to join our team as Transcribers on a contract-for-service basis. You will be responsible for converting pre-recorded interview audio files into accurate and complete written transcripts.
Key Responsibilities:
Listen to pre-recorded interviews and transcribe them verbatim using stipulated transcription software, headset, and foot pedal.
Ensure high transcription accuracy with a typical turnaround of 1–2 working days per interview.
Proofread and review transcripts to:
Ensure completeness and accuracy of transcription.
Redact any confidential or sensitive information as needed.
Respond promptly to queries or clarifications raised by research analysts.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all information contained within the recordings.
Work Arrangement:
Transcription work is typically performed on-site at the research office or study site at Admiralty Medical Centre.
Commitment Requirements:
This is a contract-for-service role. You will be contacted when there are interviews available for transcription.
Each interview transcription must be completed within three (3) working days, and no later than one week from the interview date.
Minimum Qualifications:
GCE A-Level or Diploma/Advanced Diploma
Strong command of written and spoken English
Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Word)
Background knowledge in healthcare is an added advantage
Prior transcription experience is helpful but not required
