Pros
1) It would be a great place to work if you are always excited about new and different things. You might be asked to work on change management initiatives today, perform integration testing on a billing system the next week and draft a project proposal for cloud computing next month. 2) This would be a great place to work if you are an Extrovert as you will have to work with multiple teams and meet all types of clients. Being a team player and excellent communicator would work in your favor. 3) People who can maintain a balance between Thinking traits (logical, facts-driven, task-oriented) and Feeling traits (tactful, empathetic) are suitable for consulting. 4) Visionaries who can picture how upcoming technologies will work to solve current and future challenges, understand the practical obstacles in implementing these ideas and are detailed enough to make sure everything falls into place will be able to rise rapidly from analyst to senior manager/managing director.
Cons
1) Don't apply if you like routine or meticulous planning as spontaneity (Perceiving) is highly valued here. An ideal candidate should be willing to adapt to the situation. You might be asked to catch a flight to a project in another country within a few hours' notice. 2) Accenture is not an ideal workplace if you are an introvert. Introverts need their own space to think and work, and might feel drained from having to work with so many people. 3) Deadlines are dead serious and you are expected to drive people and deliver results (Thinking). Still, you will need to be very tactful (Feeling) when communicating with clients, superiors, colleagues and subordinates. 4) You might be overlooked for promotions if you are overly concerned with details and bogged down with the day-to-day routine as operational work is not highly valued here despite being essential.
