Pros
People are very friendly and willing to help! In my experience, they trust employees at every level with tasks. They do not micromanage, and they are patient with explanations. The office is great, with good chairs and giant screens (I believe in all department, but at the very least in mine), and while it can take 6-12 months to get there, when you do get tasks, you are trusted as a full-time employee, even if you only work part time
Cons
The social culture. Most people are so incredibly boring, it actively negatively affects my curiosity and mental health. The only thing the young people talk about at lunch are drinking stories, and the older people talk about their kids and family. It kind of feels like no one is honest or present - it's just a job, and they're just going to work. This would be acceptable, if it wasn't because the team leader plays up the social culture so much, calling us "the best team". It can feel very lonely to be in the office, and there are a lot of awkward silences at lunch.
