Exposure and opportunity to get a role from a wide range of business functions without need for experience
Cons
- Bonus and variable component structure is not good, no 13th month pay. After calculating overall yearly package, a lot of other big companies total compensation could be a lot better - HR management of the program is sloppy, focus is only on a few key MA talents (favorite narrative being the current CEO Moon was an MA too!). To the rest, buckle up, you are on your own, with no support if your role suddenly changes/your boss is not supportive/toxic work environment etcetc the list goes on and on. Based on my and my peers' experience. - VERYvery old culture with people who have been in the company for over 20 years stuck in their old ways with legacy systems - no matter how much top-down 'restructuring' or new value statements they try to force down to gloss over the surface, there needs to be a drastic transformation from Singtel's core for the business to be revived and talent to be retained
