Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and security risks associated with vendors
Project & Stakeholder Management
Manage outsourced project timelines, scope, and costs from initiation to closure
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor solutions meet business needs and operational requirements
Governance & Compliance
Lead third-party governance within D&T, ensuring adherence to company policies, third-party management requirements, data protection regulations, and legal standards
Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Technology or related field.
Professional certifications preferred: PMP, CITPM, ITIL
Experience
At least 10 years relevant experience in IT vendor, procurement and contract management, with prior experience in IT applications project management and maintenance support
Experience in outsourcing and contracting for technology projects, including managing vendor project teams for project delivery in fast-paced, technology-driven organizations. Managed individual contract values exceeding $3 million.
Hands on experiences of Agile and Waterfall projects to deliver the best practice project management methodologies, tools and processes. PMP / CITPM certification is preferred.
Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, software licensing and cloud services (SaaS, PaaS)
Skills and Attributes
Strong legal and financial acumen for negotiations and contracting
Strong reporting skills in vendor perf management
Strong vendor management and stakeholder management, problem solving and decision making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing vendor relationships and senior stakeholders
