Associate - InterFirm

• Handle a spectrum of finance-related activities that include treasury, financial accounting and reporting, general ledger (“GL”), accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, audit and tax matters
• Participate in finance transformation projects

• Liaise with shared service team (“GFS”) and respective business unit (“BU”) to follow up and address BU’s queries, BU’s rejected / unmatched / missing invoice, and handle ServiceNow requests

• Handle the timely preparation of month-end closing reports and schedules

• Prepare InterFirm’s payment proposals, contra schedules and reconciliations

• Prepare journal entries for reclassification, accruals, amortisation and reversal
• Handle GST and Withholding Tax Accounting, Reporting and Filing
• Identify & drive continuous improvement of finance processes
• Undertake ad hoc duties/projects assigned from time to time

• Minimum Degree or Diploma in accounting or similar certification with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in Finance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is a team player
• Resourceful, meticulous, organised, independent and able to multi-task. Confident and comfortable with handling data and figures
• Relish the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and can perform under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA would be advantageous
