Role Summary
The Operations & Customer Service Engineer (Entry Level) is a customer-facing role responsible for supporting customers and coordinating service operations within AI infrastructure environments.
The position serves as one of the primary points of contact between customers and internal technical teams, ensuring effective communication, timely issue handling, service coordination, and customer satisfaction.
While exposure to AI infrastructure technologies and operational activities is provided, the primary focus of the role is customer support, service coordination, and service delivery.
Successful candidates will receive structured training in customer service, AI infrastructure, technical operations, and service processes. Students, interns, fresh graduates, and candidates with limited or no working experience are encouraged to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Communication & Service Coordination
· Serve as one of the primary points of contact for customers.
· Respond to customer requests and inquiries in accordance with service processes and SLA requirements.
· Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with customers.
· Provide customers with regular updates during issue handling and service activities.
· Support customer satisfaction through proactive communication and coordination.
Issue Handling & Ticket Management
· Create, update, and track service tickets throughout the handling process.
· Perform initial issue checking and collect information for internal escalation.
· Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely progress and resolution.
· Maintain accurate records, updates, timelines, and resolution summaries.
Cross-Team Coordination
· Coordinate between customers, operations teams, engineering teams, vendors, and data center personnel.
· Facilitate communication and issue resolution among different stakeholders.
· Participate in incident handling, escalation, handover, and shift transition activities.
· Support service delivery and operational continuity.
Operational Support & Documentation
· Support daily operational activities within AI data center environments under guidance from senior engineers.
· Assist in maintaining SOPs, operational records, and knowledge base documentation.
· Collect operational information and prepare reports as required.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and process gaps.
Required Qualifications
· Diploma, Higher NITEC, vocational education, university students, or equivalent educational background.
· Current students, interns, fresh graduates, and candidates without prior working experience are encouraged to apply.
· Strong interest in customer-facing work and service-oriented environments.
· Good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
· Comfortable communicating with customers and coordinating with multiple teams.
· Customer-oriented mindset and positive attitude.
· Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and willingness to learn.
· Basic computer literacy and familiarity with common office software.
· Ability to work in a structured and process-driven environment.
· Willingness to work in 24×7 shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications
· Internship or part-time work experience.
· Customer service, retail, hospitality, or service industry experience.
· School projects related to IT, engineering, or technology.
· Experience using Microsoft Office, Teams, Slack, or collaboration tools.
· Basic understanding of computers, networking, Linux, or IT systems.
· Interest in AI, cloud computing, data centers, or infrastructure technologies.
· Prior technical working experience is not required.
