Industrial buyers increasingly research suppliers before making direct contact. They compare technical explanations, product applications, processing capabilities, quality evidence and supplier credibility across search engines, professional networks, video platforms and AI-assisted tools.

Real capability is therefore no longer enough on its own. It must also be structured, discoverable, understandable and trusted.

We are looking for an AI Growth & Digital Transformation Lead who can help us build that system.

The opportunity

This is a hands-on builder role at the intersection of:

• Artificial intelligence and practical automation
• Industrial B2B marketing
• AI search, SEO and Generative Engine Optimization
• Technical content and knowledge systems
• Website and digital product development
• RFQ, CRM and sales workflows
• International market development

The initial focus is market-facing growth: helping international buyers find, understand and engage with JOTAIN more effectively.

Over time, the role may also identify useful applications of AI and automation in adjacent areas such as documentation, production coordination, inspection and quality control, packing, shipping and internal information flow.

This is not a role for someone who only wants to discuss AI strategy. You should be willing to research, test tools, build workflows, publish content, examine data and turn ideas into working systems.

What you will be responsible for1. AI search, SEO and digital discovery

Develop a practical strategy for improving how JOTAIN appears across traditional search engines and AI-assisted discovery platforms.

This may include:

• SEO and Generative Engine Optimization
• Product-, grade- and application-based content architecture
• Buyer-question and search-intent research
• Structured technical knowledge
• Internal linking and website information architecture
• Monitoring how JOTAIN and relevant product categories appear in AI-generated answers

The objective is not simply to increase traffic. It is to attract technically and commercially relevant buyers.

2. Industrial content systems

Turn factory-side knowledge, product information and commercial experience into structured, buyer-facing English content.

Content may include:

• Product and application pages
• Technical explainers
• Buyer FAQs
• Processing and inspection explanations
• Industry case notes
• LinkedIn documents and company updates
• Short-form and long-form video concepts
• Sales-support materials
• RFQ guidance and comparison content

You will work with technical, sales and operational colleagues to extract useful knowledge without oversimplifying or inventing technical claims.

3. AI-enabled content and knowledge workflows

Design workflows that use AI to support research, drafting, classification, repurposing, translation, quality checks and content maintenance.

You may use:

• Large language models
• AI agents
• Coding assistants
• APIs and data tools
• Workflow-automation platforms
• Content-management systems
• No-code or low-code tools
• Custom scripts and lightweight internal applications

AI should make real expertise easier to organize and use. Technical judgment, quality responsibility, customer relationships and commercial decisions will remain human-reviewed.

4. Website and conversion improvement

Help develop JOTAIN’s website into a more useful industrial buyer resource rather than a static company brochure.

You will examine:

• How buyers move from search to product or application pages
• Whether technical information answers real purchasing questions
• How credibility and factory-side capability are demonstrated
• RFQ pathways and conversion friction
• Page structure, navigation and calls to action
• Opportunities for interactive tools, calculators, selectors or knowledge resources

5. RFQ, CRM and sales-workflow discipline

Map and improve the journey from initial discovery to qualified inquiry and commercial follow-up.

This may involve:

• RFQ intake and classification
• Lead enrichment and qualification
• CRM structure and data quality
• Follow-up workflows
• Internal handover between marketing, sales and technical teams
• Reusable response and technical-information systems
• Reporting on inquiry quality and conversion

The goal is not to automate every interaction. It is to reduce repetitive work, improve consistency and give people better information for decision-making.

6. Experimentation and external collaboration

Evaluate new AI tools, software platforms and potential technology partners based on whether they solve a real business problem.

You will be expected to:

• Propose focused experiments
• Define what success should look like
• Build or coordinate small pilots
• Measure practical outcomes
• Document what worked and what failed
• Recommend whether a solution should be adopted, improved or stopped

We value thoughtful experimentation, but we do not want tools searching for a problem.

What success could look like in the first six months

A successful person in this role may have:

• Completed an audit of our website, content, search visibility and current growth workflows
• Built a prioritized AI and digital-growth roadmap
• Created a structured content and knowledge architecture
• Published the first high-quality clusters of product and application content
• Improved the connection between website activity, inquiries, RFQs and CRM records
• Introduced one or more useful AI-assisted workflows
• Established practical reporting for traffic quality, buyer engagement and inquiry conversion
• Identified further opportunities for operational or process improvement

The exact roadmap will not be handed to you. Part of the role is determining what should be built first.

Who we are looking for

We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate several of the following:

• Experience in B2B growth, digital transformation, product marketing, technical content, SEO, CRM, revenue operations or workflow automation
• Practical experience using AI tools to complete real work rather than only generating demonstrations
• Strong written English and the ability to explain complex subjects clearly
• The ability to interview technical specialists and turn unstructured knowledge into useful content or systems
• Comfort working across commercial, technical and operational teams
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently and move from an unclear problem to a testable solution
• Sound judgment about where human review, technical verification and data protection are required
• A portfolio, case study, prototype, workflow, website, automation or other evidence of practical execution

Useful but not essential experience

Experience in any of the following would be valuable:

• Manufacturing, engineering, special steel or industrial materials
• International B2B trade or export marketing
• Technical SEO or Generative Engine Optimization
• CRM and sales automation
• Website development or information architecture
• Coding, APIs, data analysis or agentic workflows
• LinkedIn content and professional audience development
• Technical video or visual explanation
• Quality management, supply chain or logistics
• Working across Chinese and international business environments

Direct steel-industry experience is helpful, but it is not mandatory.

Different backgrounds are welcome

The strongest candidate may not currently have “AI” in their job title.

You may come from marketing, software, engineering, manufacturing, consulting, operations, logistics, quality, content, data or another relevant discipline.

We care more about your ability to connect a tool or idea to a real process and produce a useful outcome than about having one particular degree or career path.

However, being open to different backgrounds does not mean the role is vague. We expect candidates to show concrete evidence of how they think, build, test and improve systems.

This role may not be suitable for you if

• You are looking for a purely theoretical AI research position
• You only want to manage social media accounts
• Your approach is based on producing large volumes of unreviewed AI content
• You prefer recommending tools without participating in implementation
• You expect industrial transformation to happen without learning about products, customers and operational constraints
• You are uncomfortable working in an evolving role where some priorities must be discovered through experimentation
