Pros

Average salary for work requirements Good office location in CBD

Cons

No career progression for internal candidates unfortunately even though you have a development plan in place Few senior leadership team members either don’t pay enough attention or pay too much attention to the point it’s micro management. There has been a few changes with new senior leadership entering the company making head office a tense environment to work in due to the changes. Some good team members have left the business due to team culture being poor.

Pros

- WFH 4 days per week - 6 months of paid parental leave - company contracts out everything, so you don’t need to do much or know much - friendly colleagues - good office

Cons

- staying too long will become absolutely useless - politics and chaos at management level - layers of mid management who are absolutely useless, nothing but road blocks - frequent restructure - no annual salary increase

Pros

The direct managers and senior managers within the team were truly exceptional. Their guidance and support made the work environment enjoyable and fostered great collaboration opportunities.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are several significant drawbacks to working here. Firstly, salary increments fail to keep pace with inflation, leaving employees feeling financially strained. Additionally, despite putting in extensive effort during busy seasons, there is little to no recognition for hard work. Top-level management seems oblivious to the long hours and demanding workload faced by junior and senior employees. Their lack of understanding is evident in their insensitive remarks about upcoming challenges, which only adds to the frustration. The systems in place hinder rather than facilitate decision-making processes, making tasks like building models for management queries unnecessarily time-consuming. Moreover, work-life balance is practically non-existent, as adhoc duties frequently spill over into personal time, with no clear boundaries between work hours and personal life. Expectations of a 9-5 schedule are unrealistic, with busy seasons extending for the majority of the year.
