We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to lead the full software development lifecycle—from planning and prioritization to testing and deployment. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building high-quality, scalable applications.
You will play a key role in delivering robust solutions while mentoring junior developers and driving best practices across the team.
YOUR MISSIONS
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications
Take ownership of the technical design and architecture of solutions, ensuring alignment with business and system requirements
Work closely with product managers, business analysts, designers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions in the banking/financial domain
Develop backend services and enterprise applications using Java and Spring Suite (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data)
Translate business requirements into robust technical architecture and design
Define and enforce coding standards, design principles, and development best practices
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot critical issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables
Lead and mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and support
Contribute to solution design discussions, including microservices, API design, integration patterns, and system scalability
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, tools, and development methodologies
Ensure applications are compliant with security, performance, and reliability standards, especially in regulated banking environments
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in Java development, with proven experience in a lead or senior-level role
Strong domain experience in banking / financial services
Deep expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem / Spring Suite
Strong hands-on experience in system architecture, solution design, and application design patterns
Experience designing and developing enterprise applications, APIs, and distributed systems
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, deployment, and release management
Experience working in Agile environments
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to lead teams and mentor developer
