Less room for technical growth

Horrible leadership. Greedy owner. If you don't care about corporate culture or strong values emanating from the top then this is your company

It's honestly impossible to get a clear understanding of where this company is going, it's overall health, or what they expect of their employees. The CEO talks quite a bit about the 'culture' of the company and how great it is, but at the same time the have one of the most draconian and backwards thinking return to office policies in the technology vertical (including having make up days in the office if you are ill). Priorities constantly shift, to the point that they have entire applications that there are no clients for, yet they don't sunset them. Strong employees are let go, while those that cost less are retained. It's honestly extremely sad, as the mission of the company is very important, but there is just no sense of teamwork or accountability.

Lack of structure, organization, or professionalism. High turnover has led to terrible work culture

-Overworking -Management is so incredibly out of touch -Management doesn't know how to manage people and they all need retrained/fired -Lack of upward mobility for women unless you're cute -Lack of awareness from People and Culture on how to properly handle situations (they let a manager come to my exit interview, and let him see my questionnaire) -Micromanagement and lack of trust we were doing our jobs remotely -And so much more, bottom line its not worth it

SLT fails to realize what they have created. There is no company culture left to be found. SLT enforces a return-to-work policy which seems to only apply to certain individuals even though others were inside the 'radius'. Exemptions were given out for employees who worked in the office pre-covid but then all of a sudden couldn't come in after due to various reasons. It is an awesome feeling joining company meetings where over half the people are remote, or better yet a Teams call with someone on a different floor. Let us talk about the location of the office. Heart of downtown Pittsburgh where every other shop and business is now closed up. Criminal activity is a regular thing right outside the doors and parking garages. It is a fact that no one feels safe walking across the street from the parking garages to the office. Recent layoffs in the past two years have killed morale. Great talent and knowledge were forced out due to this. This additionally has caused additional employees to leave on their own terms as many feel the writing is on the wall.
