Description:
Overall Purpose of Role:
Manage a team of engineers and workers in clients’ bases to meet maintenance contract requirements.

Responsibilities:
Plan and organize tasks to execute Planned Maintenance Schedule (PMS) and arising corrective maintenance (CM) task
Ensure work tasks carried out on time to minimize downtime to meet contractual performance indicators
Ensure work tasks are carried out in safe manner and manage risk
Manage the well-being of the team to support day-to-day operations
Training of the team to ensure team competency to carry out required task
Manage spares and materials used in performing the PMS and CM task
Liaise with customers on day-to-day issues and provide customer support service
Other roles as assigned by VP/Head, Maritime Services

Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
More than 7 years of working experience in marine / mechanical workshop servicing environment, with at least 3 years in managerial position
Able to manage a team of up to 7 Assistant Engineers / Engineers and 20 workers
Knowledge of marine systems /mechanical /electrical systems /equipment operation
Knowledge of ships systems is an added advantage
Possess man-management skills such as coaching, supervision and counselling
Possess a mindset that is structured, organized and analytical
Able to occasionally work on weekends , public holidays, subject to unplanned recalls / activations

Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
