Job Description

Installing and configuring operating systems and common services products.
Upgrading and patching the operating systems and common services products.
Perform basic administration and check to ensure system is running as expected in terms of performance and security.
Generation of Monthly Reports
Develop & maintain technical and configurations documentation
Evaluate and upgrade firewall and network hardware and/or firmware
Support Level 1 Engineers during problem determination and resolution whenever necessary.
Maintains standard operating procedures (SOP), processes and guidelines.
Willing to do 24 X 7 standby

Qualifications

Proven track record of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) or Windows Server systems.
Experience with common services products such as Active Directory/DNS, Splunk, Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, BeyondTrust etc.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
Good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face).
