Junior Software Developer

Purpose

The role at Business Connectivity Pte Ltd will be involved in the software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to delivery and post launch support. The junior software developer assists in developing, testing and deploying of the web application.

This role will involve meeting and liaising with clients.

Qualification

– Bachelor Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

– Proficiency in English Language

– Knowledge of Mobile Development would be an added advantage

Job skills

– Minimum 2 years working experience in related field preferably Entry level specialized in IT Computer – Software or equivalent

– Programming skills in .Net Technologies (VB.Net, C#.Net)

– Knowledge of stored procedures and Linq

– Knowledge of MS SQL or similar database management system

– Understanding of OO programming and design patterns

– Understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax

– Familiar with Visual Studio

– Using version control (eg Team Foundation Server)

– Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening and questioning skills

– Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Job Responsibilities

– Involve in the entire software development cycle; requirement gathering, design, develop, build, deploy, test, release to customer and support

– Work directly and closely with team mates in the same project to develop, test and deploy applications

– Able to build simple web services to be used across multiple platforms

– Documentations

– Other duties as assigned
