Position Overview

Our Client is seeking an experienced professional to oversee daily operations related to the construction of a major project, focusing primarily on mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management of all M&E activities on-site, working closely with technical teams to ensure timely and efficient progress.
• Act as the main liaison with clients, regulatory authorities, and external partners to facilitate project requirements and compliance.
• Coordinate efforts among M&E engineers and coordinators to develop comprehensive plans and technical specifications.
• Review safety documentation and reports to verify compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations, including environmental standards.
• Track project milestones and performance metrics, addressing any issues or delays proactively with corrective actions.
• Oversee the planning and execution of sub-contractors’ work and ongoing production schedules.
• Manage variations in M&E services and control costs to stay within the allocated budget during construction.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a recognized degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in managing building and construction projects, with a focus on M&E systems.
• Proficient in BIM modeling software and familiar with its application in project planning.
• Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire safety measures.
• Knowledgeable about relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies affecting M&E work.
• Excellent team collaboration skills with strong communication abilities.
• Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
