The Analytics and Insights Manager applies data analytics and business intelligence to support business strategies and goals with a focus on problem framing, interpretation and driving decisions. The Manager utilizes AI-enabled data tools to automate reporting processes: cleaning data, generating standard reports, building basic dashboards and first-pass insights. The Manager supports the business to understand business context, challenging the outputs of AI, and guiding what are the critical questions for strategic decision making and planning. The Manager will orchestrate AI tools (AutoML, co-pilot, BI assistants) to move faster from data to recommendations. The Manager must be comfortable with working on large and complex data sets.
Make an Impact by
Provide data analysis, generate actionable insights & recommendations to support the business, including acquisition, usage, retention, base analysis, etc.
Perform direct data research to support management decision making including market sizing and competitive analysis.
Problem framing and hypothesis design: translating ambiguous business questions into clear analytical problems AI can work on.
Oversight and quality control: checking data quality, validating AI-generated analyses, and spotting biases or nonsense outputs.
Storytelling and influence: turning complex AI-driven findings into simple narratives that drive executive decisions and product changes.
Cross-functional collaboration: working closely with product, marketing, operations, and engineering to embed insights into real workflows and products.
Lightweight data science and experimentation: using AutoML and experiment platforms to run tests, build predictive features, and monitor performance.
Support the planning/budgeting process, and prepare necessary materials for regular business reviews, performance updates to Singtel Singapore and Group top management and annual planning process. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, pre-syndication with related key stakeholders and follow up on subsequent execution.
Skills For Success
Degree in business or computer science, engineering with good academic records.
3-5 years of relevant experience in data analytics.
Proven experience of data analysis, data visualization and presentation of findings
Excellent in Excel, Powerpoint.
Experience with modern analytics stack: SQL, Python/R, cloud data warehouses, and familiarity with AutoML or AI-powered BI tools
Excellent data + AI literacy skills: understanding how data models work at a conceptual level, where they fail, and how to evaluate their outputs.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task, structure insights into clear recommendations, often for non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
