Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled professional to manage and optimize cloud-based application infrastructure within the Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, operating, and maintaining backend systems to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient performance.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on technical expertise in automation, system administration, and troubleshooting. You will continuously improve system operations, implement automation solutions, and proactively address issues to enhance overall performance. A solution-oriented mindset, along with the ability to manage and optimize cloud environments effectively, is essential for success in this role.
Objectives of this Role
- Assist in deploying and maintaining AWS infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
- Support system availability, performance, scalability, and security under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Help manage core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and Load Balancers.
- Follow cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, and monitoring.
- Participate in backup, disaster recovery, cost monitoring, and basic troubleshooting tasks.
- Learn and support Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
- Assist in managing Amazon EKS clusters and container-based deployments.
- Help automate environment provisioning and configuration tasks.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Assist with application deployments to cloud and container environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates preferred).
- 0–1 year of relevant experience (internships, academic projects, or personal projects are highly valued).
- Basic knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, etc.) — through university projects, certifications, or self-learning.
- Understanding of Linux fundamentals.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies quickly and take guidance from seniors.
- Good problem-solving attitude and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced environment.
