JLL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced APAC HSSE Manager to join our team based in Singapore. The APAC HSSE Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing health, safety, security, and environmental policies and practices across one of JLL's IFM industrial account's operations in the APAC Region.
This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and guidance regarding HSSE policies, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, corporate and client requirements.
Develop and implement effective HSSE programs, processes, and training initiatives to enhance safety awareness and cultivate a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections across APAC sites, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in HSSE to ensure JLL maintains a strong competitive position in safety and security practices.
Collaborate with the global HSSE teams to align strategies, share knowledge, and implement standard processes across the organization.
Act as the primary point of contact for HSSE-related matters for internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Lead incident investigations, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing necessary corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including vendors, contractors, and relevant authorities, to create effective partnerships and ensure compliance with HSSE standards.
Oversee preparation and submission of any required regulatory reports, as well as internal HSSE performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Extensive experience in HSSE management, with a track record of implementing successful safety programs and initiatives.
Thorough knowledge of APAC health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
Strong understanding of risk assessment techniques, incident investigation methodologies, and emergency response procedures.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to lead and inspire teams and drive positive change.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify critical issues and develop pragmatic solutions.
Proficient in using MS Office Suite and HSSE management systems.
